just wanted to share how my skin suffered with cystic acne after using obagi clenziderm since 2009. i stopped using obagi within 3 weeks but cystic acne didnt go away for almost 2 years after, following post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. I used to suffer from mild to moderate acne since the age of 16. i never took acutaine as my acne was not that severe, but would be easily controlled if i took tetracyclin. i didnt wanna be on antibiotics so finally in 2009, a spa suggested i use obagi clenziderm. "worst product on the market" that i ever tried. it tightened up my pores to the extreme. my face got extremely itchy with clogged pores and inflamed white heads that turned into cystic acne. i never had cystic acne prior to using obagi. so the above is my cystic acne story as a reaction to obagi clenziderm. My cystic acne was controlled by using cetaphil (dermacontrol foaming cleanser). After 5-6 years , you can see what my complexion and texture has become now. in an attempt to treat the damage caused by obagi i went for fraxel treatment in 2015 that caused more damage instead. I will try to keep you all updated on my skin condition in my next videos.
